I grew up in Whitesburg, Georgia, between Newnan and Carrollton, and right on the Chattahoochee River. My family has been in the Newnan and greater West Georgia area for generations. I attended Central High School in Carrollton, Georgia and went on to receive my bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia. After working in Athens for a few years while my wife attended law school at UGA, we moved to Macon where I attended Mercer Law, where I earned my juris doctor, graduating magna cum laude.
While at Mercer I was the Articles Editor of the Mercer Law Review, and President of the Mercer Trial Lawyers Association. I was a member of the Georgia Inn of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, and a member of the Brainerd Currie Honor Society.
After graduating from Mercer and passing the Georgia Bar Exam, I practiced law in Macon, assisting clients in a variety of areas of law. I have experience in personal injury and other civil litigation, estate and probate matters, business transactions and corporate law.
My wife and I felt called to return to the Coweta County area near family, so we did just that. I could not be happier to be back home serving this community that has given me so much, and helping those that have suffered a personal injury or other injustice as a result of the negligence of others.
